MC50

MC50 was Wayne Kramer (original MC5 guitarist) touring the entire Kick Out the Jams album for its 50th anniversary, backed by an all-star rotating band. The 2018 tour lineup was Kramer on guitar, Kim Thayil (Soundgarden) on second guitar, Marcus Durant (Zen Guerrilla) on lead vocals, Brendan Canty (Fugazi) on drums, and Doug Pinnick (King’s X) on bass. Thayil being a Seattle native made this the hometown gig for a tour of travelling hometown gigs.
