Tiger Jam VIII — Tiger Woods Foundation charity event. Conan O’Brien hosted. Stevie Wonder headlined. Prince crashed ‘Superstition’ mid-song with an improvised guitar jam, then Stevie halted the song and changed direction — Prince looked confused, then quietly walked off. Backstage beforehand, Prince had told Conan he wasn’t going to play. Then a tech handed him a paisley guitar and he said ‘Gotta go.’ My mate’s bachelor party.
