Transients in the Inlet

Got a text from my wife — ‘there’s orcas in the inlet!’ Threw down my keyboard, jumped on my bike, rode to the end of the road. And there they were, three groups from one pod cruising through Rich Passage and on into Sinclair Inlet. A happy couple of hours riding ten miles down into town and back, wishing I’d brought a real camera. But these will do. Majestic beasts.
